Chasity Rasco, LCSW
I'm Chasity Rasco a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. More specifically, I am someone who finds gratification in aiding young adults and women to spark change in their lives. I've spent over five years working in acute care hospitals providing supportive counseling to adolescents, young adults and women from various backgrounds. During my years of providing supportive counseling I've worked with women to aid them through issues related to: depression (postpartum depression), anxiety, intimate partner violence, infertility, self-esteem and more. I’ve supported adolescents through school and social related issues, behavioral problems, anxiety, depression and more. I've found that these individuals longed to experience true clarity and confidence in their lives but were held back by fear and anxiety.
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Prairie View A & M University in 2012 and a Master’s Degree from University of Houston in 2014. My therapeutic approaches include: Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy. No worries, if you are unfamiliar with these approaches I will explain as I guide you through them. These modalities have proven to be highly effective throughout my years of helping others.
I applaud you for taking the first step towards improving your emotional well-being. I know that it can be nerve-wrecking to open up to someone you're meeting for the first time. However, I value the innate self-determination of my clients and empower them to go at a pace which feels most comfortable. I am often told that I am easy to talk and will tailor interventions to meet your specific needs.
